Old Spice - Commercials & Bodywash
We are always trying to find the next best thing (NBT) here at Best4Men. Which means all of the guys tend to have a lot of products on our shelves. Yeah, usually more than our wives / girlfriends. Recently we tried the Old Spice Bodywashes.
We picked out 2 of the 18 different styles they have. So there is our first issue. 18 different bodywashes? 18? How about you make 4, and make them all REALLY good. Ok, so we picked two.
Swagger & showtime. We've only used one so far, but here is our preliminary review: It takes 2 to get the job done.
How to clean your vintage safety razor
Best4Men's Brett Thorson helps you clean your vintage double edged safety razor. Links for the information included in the video are below.
Special thanks to Badger & Blade for the instructions on which this video is based.
Throw Away Your Washcloth
Mr. Dude note: We have it on good authority that many guys in the NFL use these after a game. They dry quick and scrub the skin well. Just don't get yours in some goofy pastel color and you'll be ok.
Combine it with John Allan's Bodywash, and you've got everything you need.
Washing your body with a washcloth is as outdated as using a cassette player. Also, if you wash your body with your bare hands then you might as well just jump in a river and call yourself clean.

Keep Razors Sharp with Mineral Oil [Shaving]
Mr. Dude Note: We've been doing this same thing with our Rirtual Razor Rinse. Before the shave, it will smooth it out, after wards it will displace the H2O.
With premium razor cartridges costing as much as a gallon of gas, it pays to squeeze extra use out of every one of them. A bit of mineral oil can greatly extend the life of your razor. Photo by Photomish Dan.
Although nothing can indefinitely extend the life of a disposable razor, you can do your best to keep some of the more damaging elements at bay.
Skin Serums Not to Buy
Hoping for an anti-aging miracle? You won’t find it with these products
Some anti-aging products can completely revamp how our skin looks. Unfortunately, the serums on this list either didn’t do much at all, or gave our readers worse skin (yikes!). Check them out, so you know what not to try.
Anthony Logistics for Men
Anthony Logistics products, designed specifically for guys, are a nature based personal care system including skincare and bath and body products. These products are “to the point” without all the selling point jargon that women seem to fall for - no offense ladies. The ingredients used are geared to a man’s skin and not the delicate soft skin of a woman. In my experience of using women’s products, before the whole male influx of products that has recently ensued, they just are not made to to enhance a dude’s more rugged skin-type.
Manscaping is Getting a Little Tired: Leave Yourself Alone
Note from Mr. Dude: So we've built a business on grooming for men, so naturally, we think whatever people want to do to their own body, let 'em. However, no need to go changing yourself just for others. Do it so YOU feel good about you. Don't do it for others.
From the Boston Globe:
"Red-blooded men are furiously trimming, shaving, and waxing themselves like, well, ladies.
Naturally, not everyone is happy with this turn of events.
"It got to the point where I started putting 'manscaping' in my list of turn-offs on dating sites,''
Wax On, Wax Off: Weigh In On Chest Waxing
Mr. Dude note: While we don't shave our chest here (no need to look like middle school again) we support those guys that do... and boy do they need support. This is a lot of trouble to go through for a shaved chest so you can.... Umm. Why wax your chest? For women and for swimming. Any other reasons?
